Meet the owners: 

Alex McKenzie

With over a decade of experience as an architectural photographer, co-owner Alex has mastered the art of presenting homes in their best light. In 2015, he launched a catering company, transforming antique cars into mobile cocktail bars, a project that further sparked his passion for fabrication and design. This eventually led to buying his first fixer-upper in 2021, and, with his wife Daniella’, has since added seven more properties to their portfolio. The joy and accomplishment they find in bringing homes back to life is something they’re excited to share with you at Fix That Listing.

Daniella McKenzie

After obtaining my degree in interior design, I specialized for over 10 years in the building construction industry, starting with smaller remodelation of apartments and homes. I then moved on to hotel restoration projects in Miami before transitioning to building multifamily residential buildings in the area. Over the years, I have been heavily involved in vendor contracting and management, as well as property management for the properties we acquired.

Our collective experience in the industry gave us the confidence to start my own business, focused on investing in real estate, remodeling properties, and self-managing them. With my background in interior design, I am passionate about finding the best solutions to make spaces more efficient in our day-to-day lives, while also optimizing them with smart storage solutions.
